Privacy Policy

Lumina ("we", "our", "the wallet") is a non-custodial wallet for the Stellar network. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the Lumina web wallet and website, and what we deliberately don't collect.

What we never see

Lumina is non-custodial: your private keys and recovery phrase are generated and encrypted on your own device, and are never transmitted to us or to any server we operate. We have no ability to access your funds, recover a lost recovery phrase, or reverse a transaction.

Information we collect

• Wallet activity: to show balances and transaction history, the wallet queries the Stellar network directly through Horizon/RPC endpoints. Your public address is visible to these endpoints, as it is to anyone on the public Stellar ledger.
• Basic usage data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and reliability purposes.
• Anything you send us directly: if you email support, we keep that correspondence to help resolve your request.

Local storage

Your encrypted wallet vault, preferences, and session state are stored locally in your browser. Clearing your browser storage or uninstalling removes this data from your device — we cannot restore it for you.

Third parties

The wallet talks to third-party infrastructure it needs to function, such as Stellar Horizon/RPC nodes and a price feed for displaying asset values. These services see requests (e.g. an address lookup) the same way any Stellar wallet's requests would appear to them.

Your choices

Because we don't hold your keys or a server-side account for you, there is no Lumina account to delete. You can stop using the wallet and clear local storage at any time.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if what we collect changes, and update the date above accordingly.
